The Jamaica Amateur Radio Club, as it was known prior to 1945 was founded on February 17, 1939, when radio was still in its infancy and communication was primitive by today's standards.

We are a membership service organization, headquartered at 76 Arnold Road, Kingston 5, Jamaica.  Serving the over 60 Amateur Radio operators, enthusiasts, experimenters and hobbyists in Jamaica, by protecting and enhancing spectrum access, as well as providing a national resource to the public.
